Welcome to Cumbuco, a remote fishing village in the state of Ceara at about a 30 minute drive from Fortaleza city. Palm trees welcome you, situated on their relaxing beach. The sea water's temperature is almost as high as the air temperature. All year round about 29 degrees Celcius.
Just like most Brazilian villages, Cumbuco's small and cozy center is
located around the main square, where you'll find shops, good
restaurants, the church, etc.
In the last couple of years Cumbuco became a beloved holiday destination for Brazilian as well as foreign tourists. It's location is ideal. Bordered by the beach and sea on one side and beautiful sand dunes on the other side, which creates a natural separation from the inner countryside.
Cumbuco is surrounded by the most beautiful nature. The mountains with tropical vegetation are at a 1 hour drive distance.
